This is a reminder that we return to school on Monday 25 February at 8:45am.
World Book Day- Friday 8 March
Dress up as a book character
We are celebrating World Book Day on Friday 8 March. We would like all children to come dressed up as their favourite book character.
Children can swap any unwanted books brought in from home. From Monday 25 February, children can bring any unwanted books into school and will be given a voucher worth the number of books they bring in. They will then be able to make their swaps during the book swap event.
Share a Story (2:45-3:15)
Children, teachers, governors, parents, carers and family members are invited too share their favourite children’s book with the class by reading an extract and talking about why they like it so much. If you would like to be involved please fill in and return the slip below.
Well done to the cross country team. A special well done to Sydie Peck and Charlie Pegrum who came 1st and 3rd overall in the year 3 boys’ event.
King Harold Talent Show
Louie Chillingworth and Gabriela Musollari took part in the King Harold Talent Show last night. They both did Leverton proud and Gabriela walked away with 3rd Prize. Well done!
A lot of parents would have noticed that the police were patrolling outside to make sure parents parked considerately and safely. I know they spoke to a number of parents. They will continue to patrol every so often to ensure that parents continue to park sensibly.
