Keeping Parents Informed

Keeping Parents Informed

At Leverton Primary School there are a number of ways we keep you informed of events and your child’s progress.

Induction Meeting – You will be asked to meet with a member of the School’s Leadership Team before your child starts at the school. For children starting in nursery and reception there will be a meeting in the June before the September your child joins the school.

Weekly Newsletter – Every Friday a newsletter is produced informing you of future and past events.

First Meeting – During the first week in September there will be a meeting where parents can meet their child’s class teacher and hear about the coming year. This is an important meeting to inform you of the new class routines and helps you support your child settling into their new class.

Pupil Progress Meetings – There will be two opportunities to meet with your child’s class teacher to discuss your child’s progress. The first is in early November and the second in March.

Letters – Your child will receive letters on a regular basis.

Parent Meetings/ Workshops – There are times when we run meetings/ workshops to inform you of new school policies.

End of Year Report – You will receive an end of year report in July. This will inform you of your child’s progress and achievements over the academic year.
