Update from Essex Thursday 12 March 2020
“We are continuing to follow advice from Public Health England in respect of Coronavirus.
We have not been put on alert to close and at present we have no plans to close the school for any additional time.
We are working closely with the Local Authority and if we are advised differently by Public Health England and the Department for Education to close, we will inform parents and carers immediately.”
Friday 13th March 2020 – Latest guidance for educational settings which was updated yesterday evening to reflect the announcements of the government yesterday.
In terms of the advice that everyone should self -isolate if they are displaying symptoms of coronavirus, the guidance is for this can be found here.

Information about homework if your child is self-isolating or if we need to close :
Maths work can be accessed through Mathletics, TT Rock Stars and Numbots – if your child has forgotten their login details please email firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com and these will be given to you.
Reading should be daily.
Any other work will be uploaded to the website in the normal way.
We will also be adding a list of other useful learning sites that your child can access whilst not at school.
