Pen Licence

Book Fair (Monday, 16 November to Friday, 20 November)
This year’s Book Fair will be in Breakfast Bar (8:20 to 8:40) and during Pupil Progress Meetings. If any parents are available to help sell the books on any of these dates please contact Mrs Tysterman or the Office.
Pupil Progress Meetings (Tuesday, 17 and Thursday, 19 November)
Our Pupil Progress Meetings for parents will be spread over two days, Tuesday 17 November 2015 (3:30pm-6:00pm) and Thursday 19 November 2015 (5:00pm- 7:30pm). To enable appointments to be arranged, will you please complete the slip overleaf and return it to your child’s class teacher by Friday, 13 November. We will then do our best to give you interviews at appropriate times.
Alice in Wonderland Day (Friday, 27 November)
We are celebrating the 150th anniversary of the publication of Alice in Wonderland on Friday 27th November. We would love the children to dress up as characters from Alice. For example, Alice, The Mad Hatter, A Playing Card, The Queen of Hearts, the Cheshire Cat and Tweedledum and Tweedledee. The teachers have planned activities around a creative curriculum to celebrate the book and we are looking forward to the day.
Firework Display
Well done to the PTA who organised another great Firework Display. Thank you to Mr Pacitto for choosing the fireworks and setting them alight, Tash Cosford and Claire Perry for organising it and for all the parents and other family members who helped on the night. This year we raised over £1,400.
Year 6 Remembrance Assembly
Well done to Year 6 for a very moving Remembrance Assembly this week. Thank you to all parents and relatives who came to see the assembly.
Leverton’s Got Talent
Auditions for our Leverton’s Got Talent event on 5 February will take place during the school day on Friday 13 November and Friday 20 November. This event is for any child or children with a talent for performing – dancing, singing, gymnastics, playing a musical instrument, magic or even telling a joke!
