Headteacher’s Comments
Well done to the Year 6 children for a very powerful Remembrance Assembly on Tuesday. This year’s assembly was even more significant as we, as a nation, are commemorating 100 years since the start of the World War One and also commemorating 70 years since D-Day. Thank you to all the children and adults who donated towards the Poppy Appeal.

Attendance
Well done to Miss Bektas’s Class who had the best attendance this week with 100%.
Year 5 and 6 Children Meeting Simon Mayo (Wednesday 19 November)
This is a reminder that the children in Years 5 and 6 will be walking down to Waltham Holy Cross Junior School next Wednesday to meet the author and radio disc jockey Simon Mayo. Children will need to be in full uniform and have coats. They will be leaving shortly after 9am and returning in time for lunch.
Pupil Progress Meetings (Wednesday 19 November/ Thursday 20 November)
Our Pupil Progress Meetings for parents will be spread over two days, Wednesday 19 November (3:30pm-6:00pm) and Thursday 20 November (5:00pm- 7:30pm).
To enable appointments to be arranged, will you please complete the slip overleaf and return it to your child’s class teacher as soon as possible. We will then do our best to give you interviews at appropriate times.
Flu Vaccine Form
This is a reminder that all Flu Vaccination Forms need to be back to the school office by Wednesday 19 November.
Firework Display
Thank you to everyone who attended the Firework Display on Friday Night. Nearly 1,100 people watched the fantastic display. Over £3,700 was raised by the PTA. Well done!
