I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your support over the past year and to wish you all an enjoyable summer. To the Year 6 children and those who are moving out of the area, I wish you well as you join your new school. See you in September!

A staggering 27 children have 100% attendance this year. Thanks to the PTA
Well done to the members of PTA who have organised yet another action packed year of activities for the children. A special thank you to Janet Vallance who helped set up the PTA and who have worked so hard to ensure its success. Janet will be leaving the PTA this year as her child is moving on to secondary school. Also a thank you to Debbie Clark who through her work has supported the PTA.

Miss Thomas
After 10 years of working at our school and 2 years at the Infant and Nursery school, Miss Thomas is moving on to pastures new. I would like to take this opportunity to wish Miss Thomas well for the future and thank her for all the help and support she has given the children at the school over the past 12 years.
Miggie Hillson
It is with sad news that Miggie Hillson, our Chair of Governors, is stepping down at the Business Meeting in September. On behalf of the school’s Governing Body I would like to thank Miggie for her years of service, ensuring that the children in our school get the education they are entitled to and deserve. We wish Miggie well for the future.
School Book Bags
This is a reminder that the black school bag is part of school uniform. Please make sure your child has one for the start of the new term.
First Day Back (Thursday 3 September 2014)
This is a reminder that the first day back is Thursday 3 September. The children should be ready to line up in the playground at 8:45am.
Meet the Teacher Evening (Thursday 10 September 7pm)
Advance notice that our ‘Meet the Teacher’ evening, where you have a chance to hear what your child will be learning next year, is on Thursday 10 September starting at 7.00pm. This meeting is unsuitable for children.
Homework Club (Tuesday 15 September)
Homework Club will start again on Tuesday 15 September between 3:15 and 4:15pm. Please make sure your child has homework to complete.
