Headteacher’s Comments

Well done to both netball teams who won their matches again Waltham Holy Cross this week.  The A Team won 5-0, whilst the B Team won in the last minute of the match 1-0.  The children had a talk by local Police Officers informing them how to be safe during Halloween, so I hope you all have an enjoyable and safe half term and will see you all on Tuesday 1 November.

Jack Munns-Watson received a Green Card last week for producing outstanding homework.  Well done to Keely Harmer, Eden Ramsey, Brandon Wood and Kerys Page for learning their times tables and becoming times table testers.  Aaron Joseph came to see me for making good progress with his literacy work.  Well done to Jamel Johnson-Trent, Liam Nelson, Daisy Deluca, Zeeshan Hussain and Jack Hammond, Sophie Lewis, Victoria Fry, Millie Eastwood, Kacey Ashley, Archie Peck, Amber Brooks, Kyle Kadiri, Holly Morris and Cole McFadyen who received Green Cards on Wednesday.  Well done to Joshua Gilbert, Samantha Burton, Chris Essl, Nicholas Platts, Rianna Chambers and Deven Stenning who received a Green Card on Thursday.  Well done Sian Coleman-Adu who worked at home on a PowerPoint presentation for her call on Judaism.  Well done everyone!

Well done to Mrs Campbell’s Class who had the best attendance last week.

To enable appointments to be arranged, will you please complete the slip overleaf and return it to your child’s class teacher by Friday 4 November.  We will then do our best to give you interviews at appropriate times.

Mrs Baccarini

Today is Mrs Baccarini’s last day after working at The Leverton Junior School for the past 29 years.  I am sure you will all join me in thanking Mrs Baccarini for her loyalty and devotion over the years and would like to wish her many years of happiness in her retirement.
