Headteacher’s Comments

This week we Mrs Campbell has organised a ‘Giant Reading Week’ where all the children were mixed up and read stories around Giants.  It was a great success and I know the children enjoyed the stories that were read to them.  The question remains ‘Was it all the giant’s fault in Jack and the beanstalk?’

Well done to Rebecca Hamilton who received a Green Card at the end of last week for the independence she showed when problem solving in mathematics.  There were 8 children from Ms Stafford’s class who received Green Cards for a variety of reasons.  Well done to every one of them.  Well done to Tim Akpuda and Jessica Smith for receiving Green Cards for the extra effort they put in to their homework.  Well done to Frankie Perry for the effort he put in to his RE work. Dylan Saunders received a green card for excellent independent writing in Literacy, well done!  Nilgin Halim and Danny Ball received a green card for their independent writing.  Well done to Nathan Hustyn, Tommy Argent, Teddy White and Alex Antoniou received Green Cards for their excellent literacy work.  Well done to Kacey Ashley for receiving a Green Card for her Fantastic Class Assembly and Holly Morris and Cole McFadyen for their independent learning in mathematics.  Well done everyone!

Olympic Mugs

As part of our topic ‘A Diamond Olympics’ the children have designed an image that can be printed on a mug.  This will be displayed at the end of next Thursday/ during the Inflatable Day.
