Headteacher’s Comments
We all have our own ways to deal with behaviour, but when running a school we need to make sure there is a consistent approach so the school remains a happy, safe environment for all children. The children are told at Leverton to:
- Ignore
- Tell the other person to stop and walk away
- Tell an adult

Fire Station Open Day and Coffee Morning (Saturday 27 September 2014 10am to 4pm)
The local fire station is holding a day of family fun where you get to meet your local fire crew on Saturday 27 September from 10am to 4pm.
Spanish Club (Monday 29 September 8:15am)
Mrs May’s Spanish Club will be on Monday 29 September, Monday 6, 13 and 20 October and Monday 3 and 10 and 17 November. It starts at 8:15 and will be in the ICT Suite.
Names in clothing
Please ensure that you name every bit of your child’s clothing. There have been quite a few children mislaying their clothing, but it has been hard to track down as the clothing did not have names in it.
Football Result
Unfortunately we conceded 8 goals to loose our first match of the season against Staples Road.

Feedback from Governing Body
At their Business Meeting on Monday, all governors agreed dates for their meetings during this academic year. These have been scheduled to enable members to best support and monitor the school’s work. Already this term, the three committees (Curriculum, Personnel and Finance) have met separately to consider matters from the last year and to ensure readiness for the challenges which every year brings.
