Headteacher’s Comments

Where has September gone?  On Tuesday 16 September a HMI Inspector visited the school to check the impact the improvements that the school has put into place since the OFSTED inspection in May.  I am pleased to announce that the HMI Inspector felt that senior leaders and governors are taking effective action to tackle the areas that require improvement.  A full copy of the letter will be published on the school and OFSTED website on Tuesday 7 October.

PTA Meeting (Monday 6 October- 9am)

This is a reminder that the next PTA meeting is next Monday (6 October) starting at 9am.  All parents welcome.

PE Tracksuit

The Infant School bought all their children grey tracksuits last year, with a lot of them still fitting the Year 3 children.  Therefore, it has been decided that over a period of 4 years we will change the colour of our outdoor tracksuits from black to grey.  This year, Year 3 children can wear grey tracksuits (if parents have already bought black, your child can still wear this, this is not a problem), and Years 4, 5 and 6 will continue to wear black tracksuits.  All teachers have been informed this.

Football Result

Well done to our football team who beat Alderton 8-1 last night.

Are they good for the environment?

Are there flight paths for them to take for different routes?

Do they go faster than normal cars?

Will they stop traffic congestion in London?

Are they expensive to buy?
