At Leverton Primary School we aim to teach inclusive and progressive PE lessons to all pupils. Our ambition is to have healthy, fit children with the ability to play games, whilst following the rules and playing fairly.
We intend to teach PE lessons that develop a range of sporting skills, including coordination, balance, strength, speed and agility. These lessons will also promote self-esteem and well-being, and give pupils a chance to increase their self-confidence, listening and cooperation skills and understanding of a range of sports. Our curriculum will give them opportunities that will teach them valuable life lessons such as success and failure and perseverance. All children will have equal opportunities to take part in a range of sporting activities, where effort and success are equally recognised.
