Safeguarding

Our Safeguarding Policy can be found under the ‘Policies’ section

If you have a concern about a child, please request a meeting with our designated Safeguarding lead Miss A Beggs.

If she is not available, then please ask to speak to one of our deputy leads

Miss L Gibbs (Headteacher)

Mrs L Mottram (SENCo)

Mrs W Pentelow (After Schools Club)

Safeguarding Governor: Mrs C Harper

Our school community has a duty to safeguard and promote the welfare of children. This means that we have a Child Protection Policy and procedures in place which are available on the web site or from the school office on request. All staff including our volunteers and supply staff must ensure that they are aware of our procedures; parents and carers are welcome to read these. Sometimes we may need to share information and work in partnership with other agencies when there are concerns about a child’s welfare. We will always ensure that our concerns about our pupils are discussed with their parents/carers first unless we have reason to believe that this is not in the child’s best interests.
